Caught on camera: Man sought after attempted rape

QUEENS (PIX11)-- Police seeking the public's help to find a man who tried to rape a woman inside her Queens apartment.

The incident occurred about 5 a.m. June 6 at a residential building near Roosevelt Avenue.

The individual identified in surveillance video supplied by police followed the female victim into her apartment building. He threw her to the floor and tried to rape her.

The victim did not suffer any injuries, police said.

The man is described to be in his 20s, about 5 feet 4 inches tall. He was last seen wearing a short sleeve button down shirt and blue jeans.
