NEW YORK (PIX11)-- Rutgers football champ Eric LeGrand was paralyzed four years ago in a sports accident, but that hasn't stopped him.

He's now raising awareness and funds about his condition, and his new mission is to find a cure for paralysis.

LeGrand is participating in the "Walk to Victory Over Paralysis" treadmill walk-a-thon, alongside many others living with paralysis, on Saturday. The 24-hour event starts at 9:00 p.m.  The goal is to raise $330,000 in total with Kessler challenged to raise $30,000. For more information, click here.
