PATERSON, N.J. (PIX11) -- Hundreds of mourners gathered inside Paterson's Community Baptist Church of Love Friday evening for the wake and funeral of 12-year-old Genesis Rincon.

"I want to thank everyone for coming to this special occasion for Genesis. We all loved her very much," said Genesis' younger sister, Alexis.

"I am actually glad that she went to God, because she doesn't have to suffer any more in Paterson."

Genesis was hit by a stray bullet last Saturday evening on Rosa Parks Boulevard while riding her scooter to the store. Her family removed Genesis from life support two days after doctors pronounced the girl brain dead.

Jhymiere Moore, 19, surrendered to police after learning he was a suspect in the case but entered a not-guilty plea during his arraignment Friday morning. By Friday evening Passaic County prosecutors announced two more arrests in the case, 21-year-old Jeffery Ellerbee is charged with murder and 19-year-old Marshae Anthony faces weapons charges
