It really doesn’t get much more exciting than a walk-off win and that’s just what happened to the Mets last night, when Ruben Tejada hit a walk-off single that scored Juan Lagares in the 11  inning. That was the Mets 2nd walk-off this season, which was also against the Braves, and the 394th in team history.

Last night was also the Mets 3,999th franchise win.

About tonight’s starter: Jacob deGrom has allowed 5 earned runs in his last 18.2 innings. He has allowed 3 earned runs or less in 8 of his first 10 major league starts. Only four pitchers in team history have allowed three runs or less in nine of their first 10 starts: Matt Harvey, Masato Yoshii, Tom Seaver and Jim McAndrew.
