Harry Potter is back in new J.K. Rowling story

NEW YORK (PIX11) — Harry Potter is back.

Yes, you read that correctly.

J.K. Rowling has given fans get a glimpse into the teen wizard’s future as a mysterious, married, and gray-haired man.

Rowling’s new 1,500-word story published on her Pottermore website describes Harry as a 34 year-old who attends the Quidditch World Cup with his old friends, Ron and Hermione, and their children.

The final Potter novel, “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows,” was published in 2007.

Rowling said she would not write another installment of the wildly popular series, but she has created Potter-related material, including spin-off story collection “The Tales of Beedle the Bard.”

She’s also published two detective novels as Robert Galbraith.
