QUEENS (PIX11) -- Next month, the US Open will be rolling into town, bringing with it some of the biggest tennis stars on the planet.

So it makes sense that they would launch a nationwide search for only the best to sing “America The Beautiful” during the 12-day tournament.

A nationwide open casting call Tuesday at Flushing Meadows Corona Park in Queens drew out pint-sized powerhouses 12-years-old and younger, who were all in a quest to land one of the 12 coveted spots.

Winners selected from the call-back will perform in Arthur Ashe Stadium in front of a crowd of 24,000 fans to kick off evening sessions.

The US Open will be held August 25 to September 8.
