HACKENSACK, N.J. (AP) — Authorities say a northern New Jersey man possessed and distributed dozens of child pornography images and videos online.

Fifty-three-year-old Jose Chavarria of Fort Lee faces two counts of child endangerment. His bail was set at $100,000 cash and he was scheduled to be arraigned Monday.

Bergen County prosecutors say Chavarria had acquired more than 100 images and/or videos of pre-pubescent children engaged in sexual acts.

It was not known Saturday if Chavarria had retained lawyer.
