WEST HARTFORD, Conn. (PIX11) — A shopper is credited with nabbing a suspected upskirt peeper who police say violated more than two dozen women during a day-long trip at a Connecticut mall.

Husein Ahmetovic, of Waterbury, was arrested June 28 near the Sears at Westfarms mall, the Hartford Courant reports.

Officers were called to the shopping center after a woman noticed what Ahmetovic was allegedly doing and chased him into the store. The 46-year-old was taken into custody.

He is accused of using a digital camera to take videos up the skirts of at least 30 women. He allegedly would maneuver the camera below women’s skirts by placing it on something.

Police said they found hours of footage, starting at 10:17 a.m. and ending at 4:41 p.m. the day of the arrest.

Ahmetovic faces 30 counts of voyeurism and one count of breach of peace. He posted $10,000 bail and is due in court next month.
