Burger King shows support for gay rights with ‘Proud Whopper’

Burger King is making headlines, releasing a gay-pride themed “Proud Whopper.”

The fast food chain released a video explaning the difference between a regular Whopper and a Proud Whopper.

The burger is wrapped in rainbow paper that reads, “We are all the same inside.”


The Proud Whopper will be available until Thursday at a Burger King along San Francisco’s Pride Parade route.

All Proud Whopper sales will be donated to a charity that funds scholarships for LGBT high school seniors.
