Fresh off the heels of a newly released song dedicated to his estranged wife Paula Patton, singer Robin Thicke was taken to task on Twitter after an ill-advised hashtag.

Monday, VH1 tweeted, “Have a burning question for @robinthicke? Submit your ?s for tomorrow’s Twitter Q+A using #AskThicke!”

That suggestion didn’t end well for the R&B crooner, as fans and trolls alike had questions about Thicke’s rumored cheating and questionable song lyrics.

When the question and answer began, a remorseful Thicke did answer questions about Patton.
