SALEM, N.J. (PIX11) — The woman wanted for brutally beating a New Jersey mother in front of her toddler has turned herself in, according to police.
Authorities have been looking for 25-year-old Latia Harris for about a week after a disturbing video surfaced on Facebook, showing Harris punching, kicking and spitting on Catherine Ferreira.
Bystanders recorded the incident and didn’t attempt to help Ferreira. The victim’s two-year-old son was the only one who tried to stop the attack.
Ferreira told local media that she and Harris, who are coworkers at McDonald’s, had an ongoing feud.
Harris is facing charges of assault and making terroristic threats. She is being held on $35,000 bail.
