Brooklyn man pours gasoline on couch to get ‘rid of bedbugs’
BROOKLYN (PIX11) — A Brooklyn man attempted to rid his home of bedbugs by dousing his couch in gasoline Monday evening.
The FDNY received a report of a strong smell of gasoline inside an apartment building on 20th Avenue in Bensonhurst.
When emergency crews arrived, a man in the apartment in question told firefighters he poured gasoline on his couch to try and kill the bedbugs.
Luckily, the couch did not ignite and no one was injured.
