Gunman sought in shooting that hurt child in Brooklyn

Police are looking for this man they believe shot two people in Coney Island Saturday evening (DCPI).

CONEY ISLAND, Brooklyn (PIX11)– Authorities are seeking for the gunman who injured a 10-year-old  boy and 25-year-old man  Saturday evening in Brooklyn.

Police said the shooting occurred about 7:20 p.m. near 2321 Mermaid Ave.

When officers arrived on the scene, they found the boy suffering from a gunshot wound on his knee and a man with a gun shot wound on his abdomen.

Both were taken to the hospital and are now in stable condition.

The man was last seen wearing a yellow t-shirt, yellow shorts, white sneakers and a multi-colored baseball hat.
