LI nanny leaves toddler in hot car so she can shoplift in Target: cops

HICKSVILLE, Long Island (PIX11)– A Long Island nanny is accused of leaving a toddler in a hot minivan while she went on a shoplifting spree.

Christine Nunes is the suspect’s name.

She’s accused of shoplifting from the Target in Hicksville while the three-year-old girl was left in the sweltering vehicle for more than half an hour.

Someone spotted the child and called police.

The little girl was sweating and dehydrated when help arrived, but she will be ok.

    wow, all these awful Nanny stories in the news lately! People need to start hiring highly qualified nannies… problem solved ;-)
