NEW YORK (PIX11) — Around this time last summer, Robin Thicke was on top of the world. Riding the wave from his massive hit single “Blurred Lines,” there was no stopping the pop singer.

However a lot can happen in a year, because now all he seems to sing about is heartbreak and his quest to get “her” back.

That “her” is his estranged wife, Paula Patton. The two separated earlier this year after allegations of infidelity.

For several weeks Thicke has been on an apparent public apology tour where he has appeared on awards shows, social media and talk shows, begging to get Patton back.

The singer is set to release an album called — shockingly enough — “Paula,” where the entire 14-track list is dedicated to, you guessed it, Paula Patton.

While some fans have their reservations about making the private matter into a public spectacle, others think the strategy is quite inventive.

Paula Patton, the ball is now in your court.
