The man caught on surveillance footage is accused of landing a fatal punch on a 56-year-old man’s face near Roosevelt Avenue June 21, 2014.

WOODSIDE, Queens (PIX11) — A 56-year-old man punched in the face by a stranger in Queens last week has died, according to police.

Roberto Martires was standing on Roosevelt Avenue in Woodside just after midnight on June 21 when an unknown man punched him in the face.

Martires died of his injuries Tuesday at a hospital.

The still-at-large attacker is described as a Hispanic male with facial hair in his early to mid 20s. Surveillance cameras near the scene of the attack captured a man believed to be the assailant.
