ELIZABETH, N.J. (PIX11) — A 14-year-old boy is recovering after a stray bullet pierced a wall and hit him in his home.

Police say the teen was sitting in his home on Magnolia Avenue around 4 p.m., when a bullet fired from the street came through the wall of his house, hitting him in the arm.

The teen was taken to a nearby hospital where he was treated and released.

Police say it does not appear that the teen was the intended target.

No arrests have been made and police are still investigating.
