Police identify body found in woods as missing Medford mother Sarah P. Goode

MEDFORD, N.Y. (PIX11) — Suffolk County Police have identified the body found in a wooded-area in Medford as missing mother Sarah P. Goode.

The body of the 21-year-old was found Thursday by a volunteer search party near where her car had been abandoned.

The search party consisted of a group of 40-50 people found the body of a “young female” in a wooded area off Camden Court.

Goode was reported missing by her sister June 8th.

According to her sister, the close-knit family had not heard from her in two days.

The young mother’s car was found shortly after in a wooded-area in Medford.

Police have not released a cause of death yet.
