BRONX, N.Y. (PIX11) — Police are searching for a suspect who slashed a man in the face in the Bronx.

The altercation took place on June 1 around 11:20 a.m. in front of 1900 Grand Concourse when the suspect approached the victim, asking what he was looking at.

The two got into a verbal dispute which escalated into the suspect slashing the victim across the forehead with an unknown object.

The victim was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital where he was treated for his wounds and released.

Police describe the suspect as 6-feet tall, weighting 170 pounds with short grey hair.
