SOUTH AFRICA (PIX11) – A mountain biker wearing a GoPro helmet cam posted a video of three men robbing him at gunpoint as he cycled along a trail in South Africa.

Malcolm Fox was biking along Lowry’s Pass in Somerset West when the robbers stepped onto the trail and ordered him off the bike.

One man, pointing a handgun at Fox, took his bike and forced him to give up his personal belongings.  In the video, he appears to stare directly at the camera as if trying to figure out what it was.

Despite being worth hundreds of dollars, the muggers couldn’t figure out what the GoPro was and decided to take off instead.

According to The Citizen, all three suspects have been arrested thanks to the footage.

“Thorough investigation work led investigators to the suspects with the help of the footage,” said police spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Andre Traut.
