NEW YORK (AP) – The mother of a New York City teenager stabbed to death just days before two children were stabbed inside an elevator a few blocks away says the violence has destroyed her family.

Eighteen-year-old Tanya Copeland was fatally stabbed Friday night.

On Sunday evening, two children were stabbed at Brooklyn’s Boulevard Houses. Six-year-old Prince Joshua Avitto was killed, and 7-year-old Mikayla Capers was critically injured.

18-year-old Tanya Copeland was a talented drummer and an aspiring nurse.

Police are investigating whether the same suspect was involved. Similar knives were discovered at each location.

The teen’s mother, Rochelle Copeland, said Wednesday that it’s “harrowing” no one has been caught.
Police have released a sketch of a suspect in the children’s stabbings.

They have described the attacker as a stranger who chose the victims randomly.

Rewards totaling $63,000 are being offered.

My last pay check was $9500 working 12 hours a week online. My neighbour’s sister has been averaging 15k for months now and she works about 20 hours a week. I can’t believe how easy it was once I tried it out.
