BRONX (PIX11) — The driver of a tractor-trailer was killed early Wednesday when a flying manhole cover crashed through his windshield, police said.

Jose Duran, 35, of Springfield, Mass. was driving on the Cross Bronx Expressway about 5:25 a.m. when the freak accident happened.

The manhole cover-turned-missile struck Duran in the head. His tractor-trailer struck another big rig, trapping Duran in his cab. The second driver escaped unscathed.

Duran was taken to Lincoln Hospital, where he died of his injuries.

My last pay check was $9500 working 12 hours a week online. My neighbour’s sister has been averaging 15k for months now and she works about 20 hours a week. I can’t believe how easy it was once I tried it out.
