“That was pretty good guys, but what about a little Sam Cooke?” the conductor said before joining in with the group.

NEW YORK (PIX11) — This subway ride was filled with soul!

A New York City subway conductor decided to sing along with a group of subway performers as they rehearsed and the result was phenomenal.

“I was on the first train of the subway, temporarily stopped. Empty train, except for a group of subway singers practicing for the day,” Ari Byme posted on YouTube May 31.

“The subway conductor then opens the door and says, ‘That was pretty good guys, but what about a little Sam Cooke?”

The conductor then joined in with the group, and they all sing in harmony.

It is unclear what subway line the video was recorded on.
