(PIX11 WEATHER CENTER) — The summer like temperatures have come to an end over the Tri-State Area as winds will be flowing onshore for the next few days.  Skies will be mostly cloudy with scattered showers throughout the day.  The afternoon high temperature will be 65 degrees in the City, low to mid 60s for the suburbs.

Tonight will be mostly cloudy with scattered showers and patchy fog.  Low temperatures will be 51 degrees in the City, mid to upper 40s for the suburbs.

Thursday will be partly cloudy and continued cool and high pressure over the Canadian Maritimes will keep the Tri-State Area in an unseasonably cool air mass.  High temperatures will remain in the mid-60s for the city, mid to upper 50s for the suburbs.

Milder temperatures will return on Friday with Partly cloudy skies and the chance of afternoon showers and thunderstorms.  High temperatures will be in the low to mid-70s.

The weekend will be mostly sunny with seasonable temperatures, highs in the mid-70s.
