Delays and crowds hit record levels on NYC Transit system

MANHATTAN (PIX11) – Two men were stabbed in a subway car early Tuesday, police said.

The attack happened about 3:30 a.m. on a 4 train near the East 116 Street and Lexington Avenue stop.

A 25-year-old man was stabbed in the face, head and arms. A 19-year-old man was stabbed in his arms and face, police said. Their conditions were not immediately known.

Two men were seen running from the scene, but no arrests have been made.

All express train service has been halted at the 116 Street station while police investigate.
