George Washington Bridge construction to begin Monday night

(PIX11) — Drivers were warned to expect delays during the Tuesday morning commute after a tractor trailer crashed on the George Washington Bridge and began leaking fuel.

The disabled tractor trailer was blocking at least two outbound lanes as of 7 a.m.

Delays of about 20 to 30 minutes were reported on the inbound upper lanes.
