NYPD: Woman robs elderly man while ‘helping’ him

THE BRONX (PIX11) — Police are searching for a woman who robbed a 91-year-old man in the Bronx Friday at about 9:30 a.m.

After engaging him in conversation, the suspect walked the senior citizen, who uses a cane , to a deli at 1030 East Tremont Ave. Once inside, she removed a $100 bill from the victim’s pocket and fled the location, according to the NYPD.

The suspect is described as a 35 to 45-year old Hispanic female, 5-foot-4, and was last seen wearing a black sweater, black skirt and red sneakers.

The suspect was caught on camera robbing an elderly man while ‘helping’ him walk.
