(PIX WEATHER CENTER)– The Friday night deluge gave way to a beautiful Saturday.

The same fine weather will continue into most of Sunday.

I say “most” of Sunday because we probably won’t be able to get through the whole day with sunshine.

It’s likely that clouds will build up during the afternoon and there may even be a few scattered showers as we head towards the late afternoon or evening.

At least temperatures will once again be near 70.

The same weather pattern will continue into Monday and even Tuesday.

Daytime highs will be close to normal for this time of year but the the threat of a shower cannot be ruled out during late day and evening hours.

The next system to bring a bigger threat of showers and possible thunderstorms will arrive on Wednesday and last into early Thursday.

So the week ahead once again appears to be unsettled at times with still no sign of prolonged warmth as we approach the Memorial Day weekend.
