NYPD searching for escaped inmate from Queens hospital

FAR ROCKAWAY, NEW YORK (PIX11) — Police are asking for public assistance in searching for a 26-year-old man who escaped from a Queens prison.

George Jordan was arrested Friday evening and charged with petit larceny and resisiting arrest. He was being treated at Saint John’s Hospital for a prior condition, where he was able to free himself from his handcuffs and flee the hosiptal at about 11 p.m.

Jordan is described as 6-foot-0, 230 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. He was last seen wearing a blue sweatshirt, blue jeans and black sneakers.
