GASTONIA, N.C. (PIX11) — Pizza is a serious matter for some people.

A North Carolina woman was jailed after she called 911 to complain about her Subway pizza having the wrong sauce.

Bevalente Michette Hall of Gastonia dialed the emergency hotline in a rage, saying employees put marinara sauce on her flatbread pizza instead of pizza sauce.

Hall was arrested and released on $2,000 bond.

“I wanna make a report,” Hall told the operator. “These people took my money…they gave me marinara sauce I thought was pizza sauce.”

Hall complained that although she had her receipt, employees wouldn’t make her a new pizza.

“Can you please send a cop down here?” the woman continued.

Hall also told the dispatcher she wanted to get her story on Action 9, which is a local news station.

Well, the cops did in fact show up and arrested Hall and charged her with misuse of the 911 system.

She released on $2,000 bond.
