QUEENS, N.Y. (PIX11) – A 16-year-old girl and her 1-year-old daughter disappeared this week and police are asking for the public’s help to bring them home safely.

Leslie Ramales and her daughter Jayleen Ojeda were last seen about 6 a.m. Monday in front a home along 47 Street in Queens, police said. The girls do not live at the house where they were last seen, though it was not immediately known what connection, if any, they had to the home.

Ramales is described as 5 feet 2 inches tall, about 130 pounds with a thin build and light complexion, brown eyes and black hair. She has a tattoo on her left wrist of her daughter’s name, Jayleen.

Anyone with information or who sees the girls is urged to call NYPD’s Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS or visit www.NYPDCRIMESTOPPERS.com.
