MONTCLAIR, N.J. (PIX11) — Want to live like a legend? Well now you can. The house that Hall of Famer Yogi Berra called home for nearly 40 years is up for sale.

The 4,500 square foot home sits on almost a half-acre along Highland Avenue in Montclair, N.J., not far from the Yogi Berra Museum and Learning Center down town.

Some of the features include 6 bedrooms, 3 and 1/2 bathrooms, a posh, classically styled foyer, a large formal dining room, 3 fireplaces, a spiral staircase and a lemonade porch.

The humble suburban estate even offers views of the New York City skyline.

Berra and his family were a staple in the neighborhood, being known for inviting neighbors to lavish Thanksgiving dinners annually.

The sale of the home comes after the death of wife Carmen Berra last month. Yogi , now 88, lives in an assisted living home.

To honor the Yankees legend, the home boasts a price tag of $888,000 – a hat tip to the number 8 – which Berra sported for several seasons with the Bronx Bombers.

While the house is clearly beautiful — what about the neighborhood? Are there any Yankees fans on the block?

“Um hello?” quipped neighbor Patty Steele. “You think I would even be here if I weren’t a Yankees fan.”

Guess that settles that.
