UCP of NYC Women Who Care

Trail blazers will be out in full force May 7, 2014 at the Cipriani for the 13th Annual Women Who Care Luncheon benefiting  United Cerebral Palsy of New York City. UCP of NYC offers more than 75 comprehensive programs to over 14,000 New Yorkers with disabilities including children, adults, and their families. By providing medical, educational, technological, residential, employment, and community services, UCP of NYC is a lifeline to individuals and families in need.

UCP of NYC graduates over 400 children from Pre-School each year, operates nearly 80 residences for individuals with varied housing needs, and serves the entire NYC community, including children, veterans, the elderly and more through assistive technology services.

The mission of United Cerebral Palsy of New York City is to create opportunities for individuals with disabilities to lead independent and fulfilling lives.

Those attending include: Susan Lucci, Judith Light, America Ferrera, Robin Givens, Ali Stroker, Paula Zahn, PIX11 Anchor Tamsen Fadal, Mike Woods, fashion designer Nicole Miller, MSNBC Hosts Alex Witt and Thomas Roberts, “Veep” star Isiah Whitlock Jr.
