NEW YORK (PIX11) — One in five women are sexually assaulted while in college.

The White House is taking action after allegations from around the country that schools are mishandling sexual assault cases.

Federal officials will launch a Web site called NotAlone.gov to support survivors of sexual assault on campuses and also plan to challenge colleges to survey their students next year about sexual misconduct and other safety issues.

Woman’s rights attorney, Gloria Allred, stops by to discuss more.
