On Wednesday, we said good luck to a legend here at PIX 11 News.

Photographer Ken Hogan is retiring after 46 years.

When Ken started here, we were a year away from the first man landing on the moon and the “Miracle Mets” winning their first world series.

Ken’s camera caught every moment of every episode of the Magic Garden.

Ken covered every mayor from John Lindsay to Bill de Blasio.

He witnessed several pope visits to New York and covered both attacks on the World Trade Center as well as some of the biggest stories of our lifetime.

We will miss his smiling face around the newsroom and out in the field.

Ken, from your family at PIX 11, we say thank you for your hard work and dedication and now it’s time to relax a little!
