(PIX11) – The Mets got seven strong innings from Jon Niese to beat the Phillies 6-1 Tuesday night in Philadephia.

Niese threw 5 K’s, let up one and only gave up four hits in the win.

Ruben Tejada had a great game going 2-3 with a two-run single and a run.

The Mets are on a roll: they have now won their seventh game in their last nine!

They are 15-11 on the season and looking good.

Bartolo Colon (2-3) will look to even up his record for the Mets against Kyle Kendrick (0-2) of the Phillies Wednesday night.
