NEW YORK (PIX11) — A body pulled from the Hudson River has been identified as Hoboken jogger missing for nearly a month, his family said.

Andrew Jarzyk, 27, disappeared after going for a jog early in the morning on April 1. His body was recovered Monday, found behind the Hoboken Lackawanna Terminal.

The recently promoted banker’s family wrote a heartfelt Facebook post on a page dedicated to finding their loved one, thanking volunteers for helping in the search and urging all who met Jaryzk to “cherish the memories.”

Jarzyk was last seen jogging on March 30, 2014, after spending a night out with friends.

This has been an extremely difficult journey of many emotions during this time. Although this has been a very tragic ending, we have been able to get through this because of love, faith, and outpouring support that we have received from everyone. Andrew would be so proud,” the post read.

Hundreds of friends, family members and strangers volunteered to help search for the 27-year-old.

A cause of death is still under investigation.
