(CNN/AP) – At least six people were hurt after a employee outfitted “like Rambo” opened fire at a FedEx facility in Georgia Tuesday morning, officials and witnesses said.

CNN affiliates in Atlanta reported that there was a shooting at the FedEx facility in Kennesaw, about a 25-mile drive northwest of downtown Atlanta.

The suspected shooter worked for FedEx as a package handler, Cobb County police Sgt. Dana Pierce said.

Six people were hurt, three of them critically, police said.

A witness says the gunman — who was found dead from a gunshot wounded that appeared to be self-inflicted — was armed with an assault rifle, a knife and had bullets strapped across his chest “like Rambo.”

FedEx clerk Liza Aiken said she looked up and saw the man before he opened fire inside the package-sorting station Tuesday morning. She was talking to a reporter outside when a woman in a FedEx jacket told her to stop and led her away.

When asked about the shooting, the packaging and shipping company said it was aware of an incident and are working with investigators.

“The primary concern is the safety and well-being of our team members, first responders and others affected,” FedEx spokesman Scott Fielder said. “FedEx is cooperating with authorities.”
