NEW YORK (PIX11) — The first compact SUV from Chevrolet to hit the U.S. market, the 2015 Chevrolet Trax is 2 feet shorter than the average SUV driven in New York.

That, a company spokesman says, means if a quarter of all New York drivers bought a Trax, they’d create an extra 48,000 coveted curbside parking spaces.
