ATLANTA (PIX11) — A little boy abducted from his Atlanta home possibly saved his life when his nonstop gospel singing irritated his kidnapper so much, the man kicked him out the car.

Authorities say Willie Myrick, who was nine at the time, was snatched in the driveway of his home earlier this month.

WXIA-TV reports that while Willie was being driven around for three hours, he kept singing the gospel song “Every Praise.”

The boy’s singing was so annoying to the man, he pulled over and threw him out of the car.

“He opened the door and threw me out,” Willie told the station. “He told me not to tell anyone.”

Police say Willie’s kidnapper is still at large.

Gospel artist Hezekiah Walker, who sings the song, met Willie, who has since turned 10, at his local church.

“I really believe that God spoke through me to save that young man’s life,” he said.

Willie’s abductor remains at large. A $10,00 reward has been offered for information leading to an arrest.
