(PIX WEATHER CENTER) — Beautiful weather continued Monday as temperatures climbed into the 60s but breezes off the ocean kept it in the 50s along the coast.

Tuesday will actually be a few degrees milder as we make a run for 65-70 but once again, it will be cooler along the shore.

However, we’ll also be losing the sunshine to increasing clouds.

A cold front will approach then pass through our area during Tuesday night bringing showers and possibly a thunderstorm.

Will April showers bring a March-like chill?

Unfortunately, the air behind the front is quite chilly. So while the Wednesday sky will feature a mix of sun and clouds, the daytime high will struggle through the 50’s, accompanied by a strong and gusty wind.

Thursday and Friday will be a little milder again, followed by the next chance of showers Friday night and hopefully moving out in time for the weekend.
