CELEBRATION, Fla. (PIX11)–Moments before a burning Florida building came crashing down, incredible footage caught a 1-year-old cat jumping three stories — and landing successfully.

The scared, little kitty named Charlie Jasper was caught on a cellphone camera balancing itself on a 3rd floor window before it took a leap of faith and survived a fire  caused by a lighting strike.

“It jumped out of the third floor window, landed on the cement and ran away. It didn’t bounce or anything,” Jim Cooke, the neighbor who filmed the miraculous launch , told WFTV.

Jasper was found moments later and given an oxygen mask by firefighters, who said the furry feline was purring when picked up.

Josue Alicea, the owner of young Charlie, told Click Orlando the cat escaped with minor injuries.

As for humans, there were no reported injuries according to WFTV.
