NEW YORK (PIX11) — Move over Peeps, there’s a new marshmallow in town!

Little Boo Boo Bakery was started in the summer of 2013 by Hannah Scarritt-Selman and her boyfriend, Kieran.

“Marshmallows are fun, everybody is in a good mood when they have a marshmallow,” Hannah said. “Everyone has a childhood memory or some type of experience with marshmallows where they feel really good about them.”

So the duo decided to take the gooey treat we all know and love and turn it up a notch.

“I would describe our marshmallows as gourmet and hand-crafted.”

Hannah works as a teacher during the week, but spends her weekends at Hot Bread Kitchen baking.

Little Boo Boo Bakery is part of the incubator program at the East Harlem market, so Hannah and Kieran rent out the space to make their marshmallows.

Yes, we all know they have a lot of sugar, but each of these marshmallows are fat-free and only have 60 calories.

But the most important thing, these sweet treats are delicious!
