Dewberry and her son perished in what officials called a fast-moving fire.

Neighbors say they noticed smoke coming from the home at about 11;30 p.m.

Dewberry, who was a guest on the PIX11 Morning News, wrote a children’s book titled “Oh Fiddlesticks” as a way to cope with the passing of her father and her son’s behavioral issues.

The woman, who was described by neighbors as kindhearted and loving children, worked in investor relations on Wall Street.

Essex County officials are investigating the cause of the fire, but say they do not believe it is suspicious.
