(PIX WEATHER CENTER) — As a cold front approaches the region tonight, the chance of showers could develop as early as tomorrow morning. The cold front itself is weak so any shower that develops will be widely scattered.

AC RPM Story 2 Tonight-Tomorrow

The front itself stalls right over the area, so the chance for a widely scattered shower continues into the afternoon.

Aside from a shower or two, the bulk of the day will be dry lots of clouds and a few breaks of sunshine.

Temperatures will generally be in the 60s.

If we get more sunshine than expected, temperatures in the 70s for a few locales are not out of the question.

Heading toward the evening hours, a weak area of low pressure will ride along the front.

The chance of showers will increase turn more widespread towards the tail end of the evening rush.

Most areas are expected to get a quarter to half an inch of rainfall however, a few spots can get as much as an inch under any heavy downpours.

A few showers could linger over eastern parts of the area by Saturday morning, however, most of the area should be dry with clearing skies.

The rest of the weekend will be gorgeous with temperatures in the upper 60s to around 70.
