Man struck on bike

THE BRONX (PIX11) – Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a bicyclist who was hit by a car and badly injured.

On Wednesday he was riding westbound on East 165th Street when he was hit by a 2007 Chevy livery cab as he crossed Melrose Avenue.

The cyclist suffered facial fractures and remains unconscious and unresponsive in Lincoln Hospital.

The driver in the accident stayed on the scene and was not cited, according to police.

Police describe the man as in his mid-thirties, 5’10 tall and weighing 190 pounds.

Anyone with information in regards to the identity of the male is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS.

    This is an outrage. Those foeign fuck cab drivers hit and run. This man may not survive let alone ever be the same. Reading the story this guy was an athletic person. Yes NY is crowded with bikers, walker and drivers, but we all were suppose to look out for each other…GOD SPEED and prayers for this man!!! THE SOB who hit him and kept going I do hope he or she crashes and be worst off then this man…FACT!
