NEW YORK (PIX11)– A couple of Russian makeup artists turned a model into a real-life version of one of the most beloved characters from “The Simpsons” cartoon show, Marge Simpson.

The maternal figure of the Simpson family, who dons an abnormally tall beehive hairstyle and has yellow skin, was the subject of transformation in a video posted on the ‘ILoveBodyArt’ blog.

During the sequence, model Kate Moukina is decorated with chrysanthemum flowers and painted over in yellow and white as she becomes the living Marge Simpson.

Behind this art project was photographer Alexander Khoklov who expressed admiration for Mrs. Simpson.

“Marge Simpson is a cult cartoon character in the present world,” Khoklov said. “We love Marge, that’s why we decided to make her alive using the skills of make-up, hairstyle, floristics and photography.”

Along with Khoklov, two others assisted the “Flower Marge’ exhibit: Veronica Ershova, who did the elaborate make-up and Mikhail Kravchenko, who stylized the unusual hair.
