NEW YORK (PIX11) – Police have released the name of the man who was struck and killed by an oncoming train at a New Jersey station yesterday.

50-year old Frank Farriella was leaning over a train platform at the New Brunswick station when he was hit.

Four other people on the platform were also hurt — three were hospitalized but the fourth refused medical attention.

About 300 people were aboard the Penn Station bound train when it happened.

Northeast Corridor service was temporarily suspended following the accident.
