NEW YORK (PIX11) –  This cabbie who scared the wits out of New Yorkers with his python ‘prank’ is now facing repercussions, according to the Taxi and Limousine Commission.

Jimmy Failla, who is apparently also an author, let his 14-foot Burmese python loose in his car and filmed the panicked reactions of New Yorkers trapped in the backseat with the deadly snake.

Failla’s book claims he “got releases from everyone afterward.”

That wasn’t enough for the TLC, however, and Failla now faces a two-year suspension of his license.
