New York (PIX11) — In the midst of the St. Patrick’s Day Parade, 44 local U.S. Air Force recruits were sworn into the Delayed Enlistment Program.

Kayla Juarez, 18 y/o of Manhattan and Jay Jaing 19 y/o of Brooklyn we among them.

They stop by alongside John Hutcheson, Lieutenant Colonel U.S. Air Force Commander, 313th recruiting squadron to talk about getting sworn in at the parade and why they wanted to be part of the U.S. Air Force.
